Renaissance revival - a Renaissance revival necklace by Schlichtegroll of Vienna is the inspiration for this intricate and classically beautiful pendant which also doubles as a brooch.  It is 9 ct gold with fresh water pearls, garnets and garnet cabochons, peridots and peridot cabochons.  The original necklace was shown at the Paris Exhibition of 1855 from where it was purchased by the V&A.
