This diadem was made for the coronation of George IV in 1820, but is better known as the one worn by Queen Victoria and our current Queen Elizabeth II on ceremonial state occasions. It also features on coins, bank notes and stamps, making it the most recognisable piece of the Queens Jewellery.
It bears the symbols of the rose, thistle and shamrock, and contains 1,333 diamonds including 4 canary diamonds.
